The basics
What is Switched On AI?
It's me, Viri. I build websites and AI receptionists for local businesses around Moreton Bay. I'm based in Morayfield.
Do I need to be good with computers?
No. I set everything up. You answer a few questions on a 15 minute call and check it on your phone.
What's the catch with the free demo?
There isn't one. I build a demo from your real details so you can see it before you pay anything. If it's not for you, I take it down.
Which areas do you cover?
Anywhere around Moreton Bay, like Caboolture, Morayfield, Burpengary, Narangba, North Lakes, Deception Bay and Bribie Island. Everything can be done by phone, text and email, so I can help businesses further away too.
Websites
Do I own the website?
Yes. Pay outright and it's yours. I can keep hosting it on your domain, or help you move it whenever you like. If I built it in code, you get the files. If it runs on my booking and chat system, it moves to your own account on that system. Your order says which.
Can you rebuild my old website?
Yes. Everything on it comes across: every page, service, price, photo and plan. Nothing left behind.
What happens after 12 months?
Hosting is $99 a year after the first 12 months, or I help you move your site somewhere else. If you're on Looked after, hosting is included.
Can I get changes later?
Yes. On Looked after ($49.99 a month) I make your small changes, usually the same day. Bigger jobs, like a new page, I quote first. Without it, you get 30 days of free small fixes after go-live, then it's $50 a change.
Phone receptionist
Does it sound like a robot?
It's an AI voice, and a good one. Have a listen to the sample calls and make up your own mind.
Will callers know it's not a person?
Yes. It introduces itself as your virtual assistant. Nobody gets tricked.
What if it doesn't know the answer?
It only knows what we give it: your prices, hours, services and area. If it isn't sure, it takes a message and passes it on to you.
Do I keep my phone number?
Yes. When you can't pick up, the call goes to your receptionist. You don't need a new number.
What does it cost?
$750 to set up, then $149 to $249 a month, with 300 minutes of calls included.
Chat and booking
What does the chat agent do?
It sits on your website and answers questions from your info, any time of day. When someone's keen, it grabs their name and number and sends them to you.
How does online booking work?
You get a book online button on your website. Customers pick a time, it lands in your calendar, and they get a reminder text.
Paying
How do I pay?
Half upfront to start, half when it goes live. Monthly plans are billed monthly. Prices are in Australian dollars and there's no GST.
Is there a contract?
Just a simple one-page agreement. It says what's included, the price, and that you own your site and content.
Can I cancel Looked after?
Yes, any time. Your website stays yours.
