Sign

When you send this, I keep a record of your typed name, the date and time, your IP address and your device, along with the form you signed. That's your electronic signature.

If you don't sign

That's OK. Your website is also accepted when it goes live, or 10 business days after we send you the final preview if you haven't asked for any changes or told us something is wrong by then. Accepting the site doesn't take away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and your 30 days of free small fixes still apply.

What happens next

  • We put your site live (if it isn't already) and send you this handover sheet.
  • We send the invoice for the balance of your one-off price (the second 50%, as set out in your order form). It's due within 7 days.
  • Once you've paid in full, the copyright we own in your site's design, text and images we made for you is yours. See "Ownership of your website" in our Client Terms of Service.
  • Your 30 days of free small fixes start from the day your site goes live.
  • Each monthly plan starts on the day that service goes live, as set out in your order form.

Our fix-it promise

On top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we fix problems with our work for free. The law calls a promise like this a "warranty against defects". Here's how it works.

What we fix for freeHow long the promise lasts
Small fixes and small changes to your website, like a typo, a wrong phone number, a broken link or a photo swapFrom [Go-live date] to [Date 30 days after go-live]
Anything we built for you (your website, booking, automations or an AI agent set-up) that doesn't work the way we agreed12 months from the day it goes live, as long as the problem is in our work and no one else has changed that part since (after that, your rights under the consumer guarantees still apply)
Wrong answers from your AI agent that you tell us aboutFor as long as we provide that AI agent
  • How to claim: tell us what's wrong by email, text or phone (details above), with our Change Request Form, or by post to the business address above, within the time in the table. A screenshot or an example helps. If your site or agent is no longer on our accounts, give us access so we can fix it.
  • What we do: we fix it for free as soon as we reasonably can, and tell you when it's done.
  • Who pays: we pay all the costs of the fix. Claiming normally costs you nothing more than an email, text or call. If you have any other reasonable cost in making a claim, email us the receipt and we'll pay it back within 7 days.
  • Your other rights: the benefits this promise gives you are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under a law in relation to the services it covers.

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:

  • to cancel your service contract with us; and
  • to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.

You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.

The full details are in "Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law" in our Client Terms of Service.
